Frequently Asked Questions

Have questions? No problem! We are happy to share answers to the most common questions we have received below:

What is a flat-rate flea market?

Instead of pricing individual items, as other retailers and resellers do, our "Fleaers" pay one price (a flat rate) for all the items they can physically carry, with no limit to the number of items. As long as they can physically, and safely, carry it all... they can keep it. Similar to a traditional flea market, the inventory comes in from a variety of providers - from estate sale companies and auction houses, to commercial businesses and individual families. Our Warehouse is a Flat Rate Flea Market. The only one of its kind in the Midwest. Often referred to as a "Thrifter's Paradise," our guests pay a flat fee ($20) at the door to enter our 5,000 sq. ft. all-you-can-carry experience, and then everything they can personally CARRY out in one trip theirs to keep.

How much does it cost?

While we do run promotions from time to time, our all-you-can-personally-carry experience is $20 per person and is paid at entry. Items within the Premium section are individually priced and are not included in the all-you-can-carry admission. There is no charge to enter or view items within our Premium and/or Free Sections

What can I expect to find inside?

We are an indoor flea market, with inventory moving in from a variety of locations and providers including estates, auction houses, business, and more. You will likely find similar items to what you would see in a thrift store, business liquidation sale, rummage or estate sale; Home decor, tools, housewares, sporting and office equipment, and more. Some items may still have retail tags and in original packaging, while most are gently used with stories behind them.  We have received lockers from a renovated golf course clubhouse one day, and golf clubs from a local estate just days later, a rare Japanese tea post from the 1800's and a popular Japanese anime tee from last year. Our inventory is fluid, with items moving in and out continuously.

Can I still participate if I have physical limitations?

Yes you can! Guests with medical restrictions or physical limitations need only to inform us at registration. We will provide accommodations or assign a proxy carrier to assist you.

Are you a "pop-up" store? How often will you be doing this?

We are NOT a pop-up store. Our warehouse doors are open every weekend. Come join the fun every Saturday, 9:00am-1:00pm and Sunday, 9:00am-12:00pm.

Are you a non-profit? What do you do with the money?

Because of our focus on giving back to the community, and our support of local non-profits, people often confuse us for a non-profit organization. While we do direct a percentage of our revenue to local missions, we are in fact a small, for-profit, business. The monies we generate from general entries and premium item sales goes toward general operating expenses such as our lease, storage, utilities, fuel, trailer and truck rentals, signage, printing, etc.

Do I get my money back if I don't find anything?

The short answer is "no." We do not issue refunds if you choose not to take anything out of the warehouse. That being said, it is very rare for a guest to not find more than $20 in total valued items from the all-you-can-carry experience. (Note: We recommend using Google Lens during your visit as it helps you discover the value of the items in real time. You will be amazed and excited by what you discover!) While we don't offer refunds, we will be happy to redirect your entry dollars toward any item(s) in the Premium Section if you do not participate in the all you can carry experience.

Where does all this stuff come from?

Our inventory comes from a variety of places, including estate sales, auction houses, businesses, rummage, storage unit defaults, and family events such as combined households, downsizing, relocations, assisted living transitions, or estate clean outs after the loss of a loved one. Our pick up services are free. The goal is to save these items from going into landfills and give them a second life with new homes in our community.

What's the strangest thing you have found?

We have definitely uncovered some interesting items along this journey. And, we admittedly use Google Lens a LOT to help us understand what an item is and what it was used for. We would have to say that the strangest thing so far was a cosmetology head that had removable skin. Keep in mind that we had no idea what this was, or how it was used. So, when we first opened the box, we were a bit shocked and... yes, freaked out. Once we learned it was a tool from a cosmetology school it made so much sense! We did put in out on the floor. We have no idea which Fleaer found it and took it home... skins and all. But, we learned a valuable lesson - everything is a treasure and there is a match for everything.

Where are you located?

We are located at N6543 US Hwy 151 in Beaver Dam, WI . Easy access on Highway 151 (near exit 129.)

Are you open during the winter months?

Yes, we are open all year. The Warehouse is heated and Wisconsin winter-friendly.

Is this an Amazon overstock store?

No. We are not an overstock reseller. And we are not affiliated with Amazon.

Do you have specials?

Yes, we do! We provide several opportunities for savings, including:

  1. Give Back Campaigns. We may offer a discount off of a general admission for individuals who donate items for a charity collection.
  2. Frequent Fleaer Loyalty Cards. Our Flears receive a punch on their card for each paid visit. After five paid trips, your sixth is FREE.
  3. Subscriber Rewards. Individuals who sign up for our emails benefit from personalized specials each month.
  4. Coupons. We will periodically place coupons in our local community shoppers.
  5. Warehouse Dollars. We will often provide Warehouse Dollars as a "thank you" to individuals who donate items. These can be used toward general entry or a Premium item.

What's the most valuable thing you have found in the warehouse?

That's a tough one. We believe that the stories BEHIND the items are what bring them value. As far as monetary value? We had a vintage, hand-painted, leather room divider that was worth over $5,000. We made this available in our Premium section. We also have had a number of leather furniture pieces move in and out of our all-you-can-carry section that we know were valued between $2000-$3000. It's always fun to see these items go home with wonderful families. Without question, the MOST valuable thing we see moving in an out of our warehouse are the smiles. We really do have a lot of fun here.

Do you have gift certificates?

Yes we do! Physical certificates can be purchased at The Warehouse during normal operating hours.

Do you take donations?

Yes we do. You can bring items your items to The Warehouse during our normal operating hours. For larger volume donations, we do offer FREE pick up services within Dodge County. Please contact our Trailer Team (under the Contact Us tab) for more information. Please note that we are not a non-profit organization.
